"Just bought …Starships… really, tight and excellent musicianship here. Engaging and intelligent compositions. This is what progressive rock needs to sound like — no pretentious and over the top operatic vocals anywhere. Thank you! Keyboards, guitar and bass are all top notch. Drums really driving things just right. The synth work reminds me at times of Larry Fast of Synergy or Cameron Hawkins of the Canadian space rock group FM. As always John Irvine guitars are near perfection. His bass lines are everywhere as good as Geddy Lee of Rush. No, I am not exaggerating. I have been listening to prog rock since the seventies and reviewing music since the nineties. This definitely is some of the best I have heard in a long time. So many driving tunes on this release. Crank it up and cruise. This music makes want get out my guitar and synthesizers out and start creating as well. Highly recommended.”
